Backgammon Casino Game Strategy
Backgammon Strategy
Backgammon is a board game reminiscent of checkers and chess, although it probably predates the latter. Recreational but not too easy, backgammon became a staple in home games in no time and finally made its way to land-based and online casinos as a classy table game often associated with tuxedo-garbed gentlemen.
Backgammon Betting Strategies
Doubles, or two dice having the same number enabling you to make four moves, provide various opportunities to make the most of your stake. The doubling cube rests on the bar at the start of the game. A gammon doubles the stake of the cube while a backgammon triples the stake.
The first time a player declines a double, he loses 1 point. The next time he declines it, he loses 2 points; the next time, he loses 4 points; and so fourth.
You can propose to double the stake out of turn if you have reason to believe your are at an advantageous position. If your opponent forfeits the double, you win. If he accepts, the game proceeds.
